The Dublin Golf Event goes from strength to strength, both in terms of popularity and funds raised for charity. Amidst the compounding horrors and tragedies in Zimbabwe, this huge success will provide the means as well as encouragement which will help our people on the ground continue their battle against ever worsening conditions.
The tradition continues as the event was once again held at Portmarnock Hotel and Golf Links on 7 June 2007. The 6th year of the event was jointly hosted by the Roberto Bazzoni Onlus and Pioneer Investments. It would not have been possible without our Gold, Silver and Bronze Sponsors: Special thanks to Citi, Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers, Societe Generale, HSBC, UBS and ABN Amro. Your unwavering support is fundamental and is a well of hope for those who are truly suffering.
Blessed once again this year with a scorching Dublin day, players made their way to their tees in good spirits. Lehman Brothers walked away with third prize, however, with Pioneer Investments star player on their team – David Harte! Second place this year was taken by Lehman Brothers while the champions of the Tournament were…LEHMAN BROTHERS with an impressive 61 points!
Zimbabwe is stumbling. The dire situation in the country is spiralling out of control. As the situation worsens our mission in providing a standard of living for our AIDS patients increases in difficulty. Your generosity eases this difficulty and is making all the difference. THANK YOU.
