5th Annual Roberto Bazzoni Onlus
Charity Golf Tournament Raises $93,000

The 5th Annual Roberto Bazzoni Onlus Charity Golf Tournament raised $93,000 for the programs and services of the Luisa Guidotti Hospital in Mutoko, Zimbabwe.
The tournament was held at Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, Massachusetts on June 25, 2007.
“We are grateful to the many golfers and donors especially those who have been with us for five years,” said John F. Cogan, Jr., President of the Bazzoni Onlus.
Richard Sardelli, SVP Strategic Marketing at Pioneer Investments and Tournament Director, presented awards to the 5-year sponsors. They are:

In addition to the recognition ceremony, the sold-out event included dinner, awards and an auction.
The Roberto Bazzoni Onlus – United States, Inc. was founded in September 2001 to honor Roberto Bazzoni, eldest son of Sebastiano Bazzoni, a Pioneer Dublin executive. Roberto, an orthopedic technician, perished in a plane crash while on a United Nations-sponsored humanitarian mission in 1999. He was on his way to Kosovo to assist those who had lost their limbs due to land mines and other war accidents.
The Onlus, along with an Onlus in both Dublin and Milan, receives support from the UniCredito Italiano S.p.A. Banking Group.
