I have a feeling that words of appreciation and gratitude are just not enough in compare to your contribution on supporting most vulnerable people starting in the field of the social welfare, health, education and on supporting our organization with the goal to improve the living standard of the children, youth and their families in Kosova.

We will never forget initiative and the mission of Roberto and Antonio on helping wounded people in the conflict and those who were the victims of the cluster munitions after the war.

We are honored to carry on the humanitarian mission of Roberto and Antonio on supporting people with disabilities for improving and giving the meaning of their life and in the same time encouraging them to be part of the society.

Building and equipping the Community Center in Drenas, capacity development of our rehabilitation workers, supporting the Rehabilitation Summer Camp, Supporting Community Center activities, running costs for CBR team are excellent ground for sustainability of our program with the chance to be further developed and to result with the welfare of people with disabilities in Kosova. One of the important successes is the program for active rehabilitation of the people with disabilities through the summer camps which thanks to your generosity is ongoing since year 2001. Until today part of the rehabilitation camps were many children, women's, people with mental disabilities, blind people, deaf people, people with Spinal cord injuries and their families, most of them enjoying for the first time the sea side, the beach, and the opportunity to build up the friendships and sharing the experience among them.

For sure this program would not achieve the huge success without unselfish humanitarian and professional support of Dr. Julia Palao, she contributed for 5 years with all her potential, honesty on supporting and motivating people with disabilities and their families. The person who shared the life with people with disabilities will always be in our hearts and we will all miss her.

As every year HandiKOS, his members and partners in Kosova will organize a commemoration for Roberto and Antonio through the mass in the Catholic Church on 12 November by praying for blessing of their souls, their families' members, relatives, your foundation and all the people who helped people with disabilities in the world and especially people with disabilities in Kosova and also the memorial day in the community center in Drenas.
