Morningstar Italy held its annual award ceremony for asset managers in Rimini on May 14, with the presence of some 230 representatives of all major Italian and international asset managers and traders.

Our Charity was invited to make a presentation on its activities and aims, in order to couple financial topics with humanitarian ones. The main purpose was to create awareness about our humanitarian projects and raise some funds.

During the very lively evening, where a friendly atmosphere was created, Sebastiano gave its presentation on the Roberto Bazzoni Onlus, which was very well received and as a result we should have reached an amount in excess of 10,000.00 Euro in donations, including pledges which are still coming through.

Worth noting is the fact that there was a photographic set where the biggest of the “Polaroid” machines ever produced was available . It takes pictures of 50x60 cm in size, each being a unique piece. The machine in Rimini is now the last in the world and, when the existing stock of film will be finished, it will be the end, and the machine will end its days in the Cinema museum in Turin. A photo could be taken for € 500.00, which would go to our Charity.

It was an interesting experience, and it is worth thinking about repeating it next year.

A warm “Thanks” goes to our friends in Morningstar for having given our Charity this opportunity.
