When Dr. Carlo Spagnolli of the Roberto Bazzoni Onlus traveled to Boston last fall for their annual fundraiser “Out of Africa,” he met with the press. One interview, with WGBH Radio in Boston, featured Carlo on its “Morning Stories.” The segment is called “Hands on Africa.” Please listen to Carlo speak firsthand about his patients and his life on the ground, paying homage to the family that supports him during these turbulent times.

Bazzoni Onlus Receives Teammates for Kids Grant
The Roberto Bazzoni Onlus – United States, Inc. (the "US Onlus") has received a $15,000 grant from Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation. The grant is expressly for helping to save the lives of children at the Luisa Guidotti Hospital in Mutoko, Zimbabwe. May 2005

Developments in Kazakhstan
Bad news from Arca Village. The local authorities, for reasons which are still unclear, have decided to withdraw the children which had been entrusted to Fr. Guido and return them to the state orphanages from which they had originally come. Fr. Guido is doing his best to deal with this situation and in the meantime he is visiting the children as often as he is allowed. We will keep you informed of developments. 1st November 2004
Citigroup pip Davy’s in play-off drama...
Citigroup brought home the trophy after a nail-biting finish to the 4th Annual Roberto Bazzoni Onlus Tag Rugby Tournament. More than €30,000 was raised for the charity’s worthwhile initiatives.
